November Luncheon

Many thanks to Roberta Middlebrooks and Martha McCullough for hosting
the great November 21st luncheon at the beautiful  Maison Bleu in Town
Center --  Watkinsville, GA. Below is a note from Roberta concerning the luncheon. . .

The ladies attending last Tuesday were:

Kathryn Bradford and her daughter's Mother-in-law.  The only name I remember is Toni.
Jean Donohoe
Nell Foster
Martha McCullough
Berna Spencer
Mabel Wallace
Frances Bowen
Jo Adams (a former Home Ec.  teacher at Tucker and Stone Mountain who retired from DeKalb last Fall as an Assistant Principal at Towers)  Jo is interested in joining our group and plans to be at the December luncheon.

Charlie, my son, had his 35th birthday on Tuesday and he joined the ladies for lunch.  We all sang Happy Birthday to him.  Jo was  his "work study" teachers in 1990 when he was a senior at Stone Mountain High.  Charlie lives in Bishop (about five miles from Maison Bleu) and works in Athens.  My daughter, Maria, has a hair salon and spa in the same building as Maison Bleu.  She came in for a few minutes to meet the ladies and then a couple went over to see her shop after lunch.

It was a beautiful place and we had the second level all to ourselves!  Good food as well.  Missed you!  Hope Harvey is feeling better.

Sorry that I got so caught up in my children that I forgot to take pictures!  I had my camera in my bag.  These senior moments are getting too frequent!!!!

Hope to see you December 12.

Roberta

Note: Does anyone have a telephone number or e-mail address for Jo Adams?  We would like to contact her with a special invitation to join our group of Golden Girls.
